Invite your contacts to your Facebook Business page
Invite more people to join you on your Facebook Business page by generating and sending a Facebook email to your Outlook Contacts, LinkedIn Contacts, Constant Contact list, among many other list types. It’s your choice.
When you place your Business page in Edit mode, you will see a list of categories on the left (see the screenshot below). One of which is the Marketing category. Among the many options within this category is an often overlooked option called Tell your Fans, which allows you to use your mailing list from Outlook contacts, LinkedIn, Constant Contact, among others, to send a Facebook generated email inviting up to 5000 to join you on Facebook.
Choosing your contacts list
Regardless of where you have your contact list (i.e., Outlook, Constant Contact, LinkedIn, etc.) the key is to convert your list to a comma separated file type (.csv). Don’t stress, this is easy. Facebook provides you with a link (How to create a contact file…) that when clicked will guide you through the steps of how to convert a variety of list types into a .csv file type. Once converted and saved, you will use this file to upload from within facebook.
Video Instructions
I created a video for you to show you the steps to uploading your file, which in turn creates the email that you can send to your list from within Facebook. Enjoy!
